Yesterday I spent my evening placing a new world map on cork board. The reason? I want to do that thing where you pinpoint all the places you’ve been and places you want to go.
I spent a good couple hours setting it up and pushing my pins. I’m sure I will have many more “places to go” pins than I will ever get to, but maybe that’s the point – never stop plotting out new adventures.
The blue pins are for where I’ve been (mostly Canada), red pins for where I have lived (Winnipeg and Vancouver) and white pins for where I want to go (New York, Egypt, Kenya to name a few).
Oh, and I have one yellow pin for my next destination… Maui! I’m going in December for my best friends wedding. Exciting!

I am looking to do this exact project for my boyfriend for Christmas and the map you chose is beautiful. Is there any chance you could tell me where you purchased it?

Thanks, Heidi! I ordered the map through Amazon and pinned it to a regular cork board.
The map was cheap too! I think this is the one I bought: http://www.amazon.ca/World-Flags-Bottom-Poster-Print/dp/B002ZPNFXC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1351823450&sr=8-1
Have fun with your project!
