Over the summer, Travel Manitoba invited the super-sweet and fun-loving blogger, BCRobyn, to spend 28 days exploring, tasting and enjoying all the great things a Manitoba summer has to offer. Her itinerary had her packed to the gills – to say the least! If you think there’s not much to do in this province, you are so wrong. Robyn barely had time to breathe.
I was lucky enough to join Robyn on a few of her adventures. We talked social media at a Blue Bomber game, watched a “meh” play and a hilarious improv at the Fringe Festival, toured the immensely impressive CMHR, and bid each other a fond farewell at Pizzeria Gusto. All of these outings were great fun, but there was one that went to eleven — delighting our tastebuds on a “moveable feast” at The Fairmont Winnipeg. The hotel’s executive chef’s took our lucky butts on a four hour food odyssey throughout the Fairmont.
I really cannot put into words how amazing this dining experience was. But luckily, Robyn did. Read all about our foodie night at The Fairmont (with fellow guests Doug Evans and Jacques Lavergne).
Here are a few pics from the best meal I’ve ever had:
