Peggy’s Cove is like a landscape on steroids. It’s an absolute gem of a place, what with its smooth rock terrain, historic lighthouse and quaint fishing village full of rustic charm and character.
We arrived very early on a sunny morning, which gave us a chance to see it before the hoards. As we explored the area, we were treated to a sweet exchange of sounds between a lovely woman playing accordion and a gentleman playing the bagpipes.
Honestly, it’s hard to wax poetic on this beautiful place with my limited ability to put words together. Luckily, this lovely poem does the job for me…

After exploring every nook and cranny around the lighthouse, we rambled down to the fishing village. Seriously, this place is ridiculous with the scenery. Loved it! We also found the best lip balm made with kelp. Buy it.
