Forget pub crawls, I’m all about the beach crawl. And who wouldn’t be? Less time to get ready, less creepers invading your space, more sun, more fun.
After our Little Beach experience, we were having a drink at the local pub when out of the blue Diana says “We should do a beach crawl tomorrow!” After a slight pause, Denise and I were like “oh yeah” while Angry Greg specifically said “WORST IDEA EVER!” His concern was over all the lugging of stuff and digging of holes (for the umbrella) he was going to have to do for us. We assured him it wouldn’t be much work. He remained skeptical.
So the next day we set out for our inaugural beach crawl. We drove up the coast towards Lahaina and found a secluded beach to start our crawl. All in all we hit up four beaches in one day. Two we spent quite some time at (Ukumehame Beach and Wailea Beach) while the other two were a quick visit (Kealia Coastal Boardwalk and Kamaole II Beach for lunch).
During our day we saw lots of whales, jumped some waves, savoured the warm sun and took some selfies. It was a fantastic way to spend a day with your best friends.
And just to confirm, Greg didn’t have to dig any holes.
