My watercolour painting career? It’s been a minute. (Five years of minutes to be exact.) But with the time I’ve had over the past year, I started it back up.
I mainly painted florals and landscapes in the past, but lately, I’ve been having fun with pop-culture-y things/moments.
Here are a few of the completed pieces. Many of them are available for purchase (originals and/or prints) on my Etsy shop.
Star Wars Helmets
I wanted to paint a Star Wars helmet but couldn’t choose which one, so I painted a bunch. The prints for this one come with the text at the bottom or not.
Grogu (Baby Yoda)
How cute is this little guy? Just love how this Baby Yoda painting turned out. I especially like the colours of his ears.
Harry Styles’ Vogue Cover
This was a challenge. Human portraits are not common for me to do, so this was a good one to practice that on. I mean, Harry Styles is not hard on the eyes. I particularly like how his dress turned out.
Stinky Stickers
If you grew up in the 80s or 90s, you definitely remember these Scratch ‘n’ Sniff stickers. Such a bright, fun and silly piece to hang in your office. 😉
Bernie’s Mittens
I couldn’t resist painting this one, for obvious MEME-sons. Bernie’s vibe during the inauguration had us all obsessed.
Poet Amanda Gorman
This was another moment from Biden’s inauguration that had me obsessed, but for different reasons. Amanda words that day were so inspiring.
Gritty
This mascot is ridiculous. I love Gritty! This painting was done for my brother-in-law, who is an extreme Philadelphia Flyers fan.
Jaws poster
Love this movie. Love this poster. Loved painting it. Jaws forever.
Animal from The Muppets
Muppets forever!
