Autumn, when every leaf is a flower

Don’t you just love the colours of fall? For me, the beauty of this season makes the short transition from Manitoba’s beautiful summers to harsh winters bearable.

I’m on a roll with the painting right now. This is my latest piece. I’m using Michael O’Callaghan’s beautiful “Autumn Leaves” photo as a reference. It doesn’t look as vibrant as his picture though.

Thank you for visiting my space…I really love your interpretation of autumn here…I just finished driving to PEI and back on my own with my dog, Max…went right through your part of the country! Continue to enjoy autumn!

Thanks Painter Lady! Gotta love those Canadian road trips. One day I will make it to PEI for fall.

I cannot believe how great Manitoba’s fall has been this year. We are usually ready for parkas right about now, but the weather is warm and some leaves are still grasping to the trees.
