Early this morning, we ventured over to the Pacific Whale Foundation to begin our snorkelling tour for the day. On our way to our first stop at Molokini crater we watched the pretty sunrise come over the Haleakalā volcano.
Once at the crater, we slid down the slide on the boat (yes, a slide) into the water and started our little adventure. We saw so many colourful tropical fish swimming around, but the real bonus was watching a reef shark skim the bottom of the coral just underneath us.
After Molokini, it was off to our next snorkel spot at Turtle town. I saw two turtles, one was huge and I was pretty close to him. He was beautiful. He had so many people watching him that he took a big breath and then swam to the bottom to hide from us. We also saw a large manta ray just fluttering by below us.
Pretty impressive snorkelling today.
